SaveVid respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect, what we use it for, and what we do not do with your data.
1. What we do NOT collect
- No registration required; we don't collect your name, email or phone number.
- We don't store the videos/audio you download - temporary files are deleted automatically after at most 30 minutes.
- We don't keep a history of the links you've downloaded tied to your identity.
- We don't sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing.
2. Necessary technical data
To keep the service working and prevent abuse, the system processes a minimum of technical data:
- IP address: used to limit downloads and prevent spam and attacks. Not used to personally identify you.
- Session cookie: a temporary random token to distinguish sessions; it expires on its own and doesn't track you across other websites.
- Technical logs: error type, processing time, source platform - used to operate and improve the service. Source links are redacted/removed from logs.
3. The links you enter
The link you paste is used once to analyze and create the download file, then discarded. We don't use it to build a profile about you.
4. Third parties
When you download content, data may pass through the source platform (YouTube, TikTok, etc.) and our infrastructure/CDN provider. These parties have their own policies. If the website shows ads, the ad provider may use cookies under its own policy.
5. Security
Data is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Temporary files are stored separately per session and deleted automatically. However, no system is 100% secure.
6. Children
The service is not directed at children under the age set by applicable law and does not knowingly collect children's data.
7. Your rights
Because we don't store personal data tied to your identity, there is almost no data to retrieve or delete on request. If you have questions, please contact us below.
